From East Grand Forks, we traversed North Dakota until we reached the tiny town of Medora. Medora is the southern gateway to TRNP and is home to the Medora Show, a variety - country - patriotic show with incredibly good production value and pretty terrible script writing. The backing band was really good, though.
We saw lots of scenery and animals in the park, and the pre-show dinner was great- steak fondue. Strip steaks boiled in incredibly hot oil on pitchforks!!! You just can't find that anywhere, folks.
