Our Camping Adventure Begins

Our camping trip started in Ohio. We got in late on a Tuesday evening only to discover that Janet's dad, Paul had taken a tumble off of his back porch (about a 4 foot drop) and had injured his sacrum, a bone in your back that connects back to pelvis to hips. A trip to the ER was necessary but the hospital booted him out after one day, saying that Medicare wouldn't cover it and he needed to go. So we just loaded him into the RV and off we went!
First stop: Sleeping Bear Dunes National Shore in northern Michigan.
